Terms of Use

Please read these terms before using WorkCalc. By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by them.

Effective date: 24 June 2026 · Last updated: 24 June 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using WorkCalc at workcalc.com.au (the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use this Site.

These terms apply to all visitors, users, and anyone else who accesses the Site.

2. About this website

WorkCalc is a free online resource providing calculators and informational guides relating to Australian workplace entitlements, including annual leave, long service leave, redundancy pay, superannuation, and related topics.

The Site is operated by Nathan Rowe, an individual based in Australia. The Site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of the Fair Work Ombudsman, the Australian Taxation Office, or any Australian government body.

3. Calculator estimates

All calculators on this Site produce estimates only. Results are based on the standard legislative formulas set out in the Fair Work Act 2009, the Superannuation Guarantee (Administration) Act 1992, ATO published withholding schedules, and relevant state legislation.

Important: Calculator results are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or applicable to your specific situation. Individual outcomes depend on your modern award, enterprise agreement, employment contract, employer size, state of employment, and personal circumstances — factors our tools cannot fully account for.

In particular, you should be aware that:

  • ATO tax rates, superannuation guarantee rates, and NES figures change periodically. Although we aim to update figures promptly, there may be a delay between when changes take effect and when they are reflected on this Site.
  • Results may differ from what your employer calculates, particularly where a modern award or enterprise agreement provides entitlements above or below the NES minimum.
  • Calculator results should not be relied upon as the basis for legal action, financial decisions, or formal disputes without independent verification.

4. No professional advice

Nothing on this Site constitutes legal advice, financial advice, tax advice, or workplace relations advice. The content is provided for general informational purposes only.

For advice specific to your situation, you should consult:

  • The Fair Work Ombudsman (13 13 94) for workplace entitlement questions
  • The Australian Taxation Office for tax-related questions
  • A registered tax agent, employment lawyer, or qualified workplace relations professional for advice specific to your circumstances
